Free Donation Based Classes Now Offered at Fire Shaper Hot Yoga

As part of Fire Shaper’s commitment to inspiring and empowering the people of this planet we have introduced a donation based program designed to give back to charities that make powerful impressions on our community.  Known as “Karma Korner” these classes are offered on the FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH as “free” to all people wanting to join us in a practice that is dedicated to raising money and awareness to a pre-selected charity.  We at Fire Shaper simply ask that if the mission of the charity moves you and you find value in your practice with us that you make a donation towards your practice.  All Proceeds will go to the listed charity and Fire Shaper will update this blog with the total amount donated at the end of their featured presentation with us.

On the first Friday of every month until September Fire Shaper Bundall will host Karma Korner classes in support of the Mater’s Private Children’s Hospital.

The idea to support the Mater Hospital came directly from an experience that Dr. John and Natalie had with the team at the hospital.  In February they were blessed with the birth of their son Saxon Jet Surie and just after his birth they discovered that Saxon had contracted Group A Stretococcus which caused a blood infection in his little body.  The team at Mater were very supportive in the treatment of Saxon and after spending a number of days sleeping at the hospital Dr. John and Natalie decided to find a way to give back to the team.  Their experience there had shown them the number of families and lives that they touch on a regular basis.  Helping hundreds of children and their families in their emergency aid and care.  It was amazing to see how the Mater team functioned throughout the day and it was most surprising to find that even with the resources they have the team would constantly struggle with the lack of availability of a few basic needs like electronic thermometers and such.

Dr. John and Natalie hope to collect some money to help support their cause and most importantly to draw awareness to the hospitals wonderful mission and purpose in our local community.
