The Secret to Standing Forehead to Knee

If you’ve ever tried it you might probably agree that this posture has a number of challenging elements to it.  Balance, coordination, flexibility and STRENGTH.  I don’t know about you but, when I first started Hot Yoga this posture would really wipe me out.  It took everything I had just to last for the full minute in this posture.  With the instructors encouragement I gradually got better and better.   I’ve decided to revisit the basic elements and structure of this pose to find an easy and visually stimulating way for other people to find success in this pose.  Specifically, this video will complete your understanding of how to get a straight and safe standing leg.  The process in the video is based on scientific fundamental information about the human body and how it works.  This video tutorial also incorporates philosophical and ethereal components of the posture that help to complete the mind, body, soul union of the practice.  Now, I know, there is much more going on in the pose itself and the video does not cover it all but, my hope is that this will set an outstanding foundation for your success.
